Our brown layers roam on an acre at a time, within the confines of standard electric poultry netting, and their “egg mobile” is frequently moved to areas of new pasture. This rotation provides the chickens with fresh grass and insets, as well as giving the land the opportunity to recover and benefit from the nutrients left behind by the chickens. We supplement their diet with locally sourced, non-GMO feed.
